I did a quick google search and it seems like a lot of people have come across a similar error and it seems like microsoft is the culprit. It is happening on both users who have outlook 2013. Not sure if making that required will fix this or cause more of a problem. I would not play with those settings during work hours as it could cause a problem instead i would wait until later.
And, so you don’t forget that your Auto reply feature is enabled, the text Automatic Replies will be displayed on the top left corner of your Outlook client as a reminder that your Out of Office Assistant is enabled and working.
